Peruvian ocarinas are usually pendantstyleocarinas produced in Peru. They have anywhere from 4 to 10 holes of the same diameter and are often painted with intricate patterns or designs.
Generally, these ocarinas are best for display, as they are never tuned well, if tuned at all. Because of their low quality sound, a peruvian ocarina can be discouraging for beginners and should not be used for music.
